When The Sulls play a wedding, we have the pleasure of collaborating with some truly exceptional wedding vendors. One such partner is Evermore Imaging, a tasteful and creative wedding photography team based in Connecticut. Founded in 2016 by Mike Musto and Nicole Apuzzo Cain, Evermore Imaging has been capturing couples’ special moments since 2012. Their mission is to document your milestones in a way that feels authentic, thoughtful, and intentional.
Q&A with The Evermore Imaging

1. How long have you been providing wedding services to couples?
Evermore was formed in 2016, but we have been working in weddings since 2012!
2. What is the one question couples can ask to get the most out of the services you offer?
One question we get a lot is: “We’ve never done professional photos before– will you help us look good?” Of course, the answer is “yes”! We like to call our shooting style “guided candid”, where we pose our couples in ways that feel comfortable, flattering, and natural. Allowing couples the space to interact with one another allows them to feel more at ease, and results in more authentic photos.
3. What do you enjoy most about working on a wedding day?
The best part of working at a wedding is walking alongside a couple on the best day of their lives! Being there to witness and document such a profound time in someone’s life is truly an honor!
4. What can wedding industry vendors collectively do to improve the quality of services provided to couples?
We truly believe that our best work comes out when we have familiarity and trust with a client! We like to get to know every couple, so we can view their day through the eyes of a friend and not just a vendor. Forming these relationships with your clients will allow you to know more about their expectations, family dynamics, preferences, taste, and personality. It’s important to center your services around these factors when moving through a wedding day! If a vendor doesn’t take time to befriend a client and find out what is most important to them, it is more difficult to understand how to provide them with the best experience.
5. In your experience, what is a common misconception couples have about vendors in your area of expertise?
Some clients may assume that a photographer’s job is to show up, click a button, and send over the files, when there is so much more involved in being a wedding photographer! Documenting a wedding involves predicting once-in-a-lifetime moments before they happen, working with whatever light/weather the day provides, working with and around hundreds of people and personalities in a given day, and then carefully curating and processing the photos. It’s a labor of love that we’re proud to be able to provide clients!
